The Region – Karpaz Peninsula

Mehmetcik, like most of the areas of North Eastern Cyprus is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The Village 

In the heart of North Cyprus's vine-growing region, the farming village of Mehmetcik is a friendly community mainly of Turkish Cypriot folk, but there are also a few Europeans who have found this gem in the Cyprus countryside. Mehmetcik is located in a prominent position looking North East to the beautiful Karpaz Peninsula, South West along the line of the mountains whilst the Mediterranean Sea is not far away to the North and South. Mehmetcik is perched in a prominent position allowing spectacular views. To the south it boasts stunning views out to sea, and to the opposite direction in the north, fabulous country and mountain views.
