600 year old HISTORICAL OLIVE MILL HOUSE
This historical Olive Mill House which is located in Lapta and restored by APHRODITE BROS. ESTATE & RESTORASION company is situated in the old town of Lapta or Lapethos- with the so called historical name from the one of the oldest empires founded in Cyprus called LAMBOUSA . It is surrounded with 1.5 donums ( 2007 m2 or 0.2007 Hectarates ) of wine yard and olive trees with water well.
All rooms are decorated with antique furniture and goods which gives you an impression of medieval times of Europe. It's all fully equipped and furnished so that all your needs are supplied by the Landlord.The living room is open plan where kitchen and dining area are all together and located in a very large room where it is as if divided or decorated with one very old stone arch in half Gothic architecture. Next room is the large bedroom which has got two more doors where one leads to the bath room and one leads to the stone arch terraces outside . The bathroom is fantastic with one stone fire place in the middle wall on the west and floors are decorated with local and colorful pebbles from the sea and the shower room is quite large.
Outside arch terraces are also restored so beautifully and professionally that trible arches are still standing solid and the top is closed with old Roman tiles- Alaturca which makes the terrace useful both for Summer and Winter,too.
The arch terraces floors are tiled with old and reclaimed mosaics and Cypriot lime stones and the combination is so beautiful that you will enjoy having your meals outside then indoors.
This whole property which is comprised of 4 different parts ( the CAFE , Office , 2 Bedroom House and 1 Bedroom House ) was published in many different architectural magazins both local and international. It was named as "The Museum House".
You will enjoy making holidays at such historical and exclusive place which the building will take you back in the time and make you feel as if you are living the life 600 years ago.....
PRICE PER DAY : 125 GBP ( First day for well-come, we offer you a bottle of local wine and some food for morning breakfast and some fruits ) the rest is all self catering. Electric bills are paid by the client . The water fee is included in the rent.
